Attune Systems Selected for Emerging Technology Showcase at Storage Decisions San Francisco

Company CEO Chosen to Speak on Latest File Virtualization Technology

Santa Clara, Calif. – December 4, 2007 – Attune Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class file virtualization solutions, today announced that it has been selected as one of the emerging technology companies featured at Storage Decisions San Francisco, December 4-6, 2007. Attune’s Chief Executive Officer Alan Kessler is a featured Emerging Technology Showcase speaker, discussing the benefits of file virtualization on Wednesday, December 5, at 11:30 a.m. PDT. The company is also demonstrating its file virtualization appliance, the Maestro File Manager™ on the show floor, at booth #315.

The Maestro File Manager allows medium to large organizations to significantly reduce their backup windows and increase overall data protection while reducing potential litigation risks. Enterprise customers can now search the live file system or any number of point-in-time copies for files based on multiple criteria such as file owner, size, type, name, as well as storage location or modify and access date. Once discovered, files can be easily copied, deleted, or moved to an archive location within the file system. Files can also be non-disruptively migrated from one storage tier to another, or backed up using various data backup software solutions.

The Emerging Technology Showcase focuses on innovative solutions from new companies that provide unique products, technologies or services for the storage industry. Only companies that meet the conference's stringent qualifications are chosen for the showcase.
