Attune Systems Announces Strategic Direction for Providing Location-Independent File Virtualization

File Virtualization Benefits Extended to Both Central and Branch Office Users

Santa Clara, Calif. – June 19, 2007 – Attune Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class file virtualization solutions, today announced the company’s strategy of extending file virtualization benefits across the enterprise – from central office to branch office – in a location-independent fashion.

System administrators need to optimize their unstructured file storage environments in all locations, and, in the past, these benefits were not possible due to latency and bandwidth limitations across wide area networks (WAN). The proliferation of effective WAN optimization and wide area file services (WAFS) solutions, combined with Attune’s unique file virtualization techniques, generates even more powerful solutions for customers.
