Central Florida YMCA Selects Attune Maestro File Manager to Optimize its Existing File Storage Environment and Mission-Critical Processes

With 25 Family Centers located throughout a six-county radius and more than 200,000 people walking through its doors every day, the Central Florida YMCA needed better access control when verifying its members’ identity. This prompted IT Director Edil Vicenty to take a closer look at the capabilities of Attune Systems' Maestro File Manager file virtualization appliance.

He is also exploring its use to retrieve and secure human resources (HR) data. “I do not have to invest in other appliances or applications to accomplish similar functionalities and all file management is now streamlined,” Vicenty added. “We have logs, statistics, better analytics and an opportunity to create virtual storage pools with virtual layers of data manipulation.”
